Took two horses here. I like Grassman Taggs Storm Hope coming off the shelf. While the long break would usually concern me, it doesnt here. He has run two decent efforts stretching out each time, and I expect this one to be closing late. In case I am way off there, I'm gonna back it up with one of my favorite angles....the "Jean-Luc Off" angle. JL Bernstein gets switch to Lezcano who has good success on the turf. First start wasn't the greatest, but I believe this horse will rate rather than try to run on the lead and could be closing late and lighting up the tote.

Pernice beat half the field in his last from the 11 post in a paceless race. Draws much better here and this is one is extremely live on my pace sheets. Takes the all important drop from open company into state breds.

I can't stop looking at Cops Fever. 12-1 is incouraging since he had a real nice workout the 20th, big speed figs, ran a nice 2nd last, but he hasn't seen the track for more than 8 months. Post sucks, but has a chance to get out. 1-1/8 is a tough race to return in.
Pass on the Cop
Bet a angle with JL Berstien with Lazcano switch. Last off the turfer was a training race. Dam did pretty good with 3 winners out of 5, with a turfer win. Never raced on grass, but came back to try a lose lawn today.
15-1 is more than square
Win 3

Clement's nag kicks off a P3 at 5/1 but I was dumb to not use it over in the zactas.
But anyway, for every race here today with but a few posters making top-end wagers:
We are six for six and catching some kicks.

Alive is good both after a race and a sharp firefight at close range.
