This is shaping up to be a very contentious race, with no clear-cut winner.

#7 HONOURAMONGFRIENDS has the best early and late numbers here, and drops a couple of levels down. His lone synthetic win came at Del Mar around two turns. Given the projected pace, anything less than 9/2 is unbettable. Vulnerable ML favorite.

I would like to see Doug O'Neill get overlooked, and get at least 8-1 on #10 MI REY, who fits the pace profile of the race, and drops in class. Horse is a win machine, and has a good record on rubber tracks.

Aside from that ray of light, this might be a good race to spread some prices around.

Cruel game. MI REY was closing like a freight train, and was going to win that race before he broke down. Bejarano looked like he went down hard too. I hope he's OK.
