Thoughts before scratches:

#9 YODELEN DAN should have a garden trip behind the speed here, but has to overcome a tough outside post. Has run par times for this class, and is tough to try and beat. Look for this one to be a short price.

#4 DADSALITTLEUNUSUAL has been working up to this race. Mitchell points to this meet. Could provide some value, but horse is 0-for-2 at the Beach.

#6 DISTINCTIVE AFLEET could be affected by the pace here, but it's interesting to note that he ran par for this class two starts back at Hollywood, and bounced off of a high pace figure last out. Could be in it for minor awards at a price.

#11 GUIDING HANDS is outside speed dropping down in class several levels off his races at Sun Ray. Has early speed, but can lay off too. Interesting that Victor Espinoza sees fit to ride.

I don't think we try and beat the favorite here unless he gets scratched. It's the start of the meet. Watch and see what happens first before diving in head first.
