The entire meet reeked.

I had expected to set up the board most every day for racing but many days early on went with few or no comments. I know I have cut back on play days and I suspect most everybody else has done the same. Handles are down from coast to coast. The bucks are OK with my limited budget but the racing is not up to par. Those 5-horse maiden and graded stakes races are unplayable and the rubbers are just about totally ignored at my house.

Maybe we get a re-birth with Saratoga but those meets have been sub par as well lately.

You know something is wrong when avid horseplayers skip cards :!:

Playing in the veggie garden or taking a walk to the library has been working for me.

Pick 6 paid over 19G's...And It was very doable...I should have went that way instead of the the pick 3 and 4...

I thought the card was a little weak on quality, but the races were not all that hard to figure out...
