Wesley Ward has sent horses to the gate cranked and ready to race all year long. Aegean didn't run her race last out, even though she still beat half the field, but I'm willing to ignore that race and blame it on the cross-Atlantic travel and/or the soft turf course. Ward looks to have Aegean cranked again, and she's already a Grade 3 winner against the boys. 6-1 ML and you can't go wrong with Jesus in the saddle. |
