Spring officially arrives in New York on Wednesday, but let's close out the inner season with a BANG!
I'm feeling good about a pair of longshots here. Shahzadi (#5) isn't the fastest in the race, but she doesn't need to be. I don't think that there will be much pace pressure either, which could help her run to a big effort. Her lone win came on the engine at 46-1 last summer. No world-beaters here either, and a fast track to boot. The other bomb, Ciminella (#3) has also been out of sorts lately, but gets Espinoza aboard, so a shake-up could be in order. Look for that one coming into the lane.
For once on the inner... DIE CHALK, DIE!

The play:
ex 3-5/2-3-4-5 Win bets 3 & 5
Best of luck to whoever is in for the Inner getaway. By the looks of things, it looks like 1 is the loneliest number.

Right idea, wrong longshot. Story of my life. I suck, and my horses sucked. Winter is over now. Perhaps a change in racing season will also mean a change in luck.
