Friday night action is different at my age than when I was in my 20s. Instead of running for fillies and mares at the bars I now let them run for me on TVG.

Anyway, I have to run some folks (including the bride) over to JFK this afternoon and then have to have some body parts X-rayed for my doctor but I should be around for some Mountain climbing this evening. With 1/8 Pole out in Ohio until next week I'm a footloose bachelor again but for some strange reason the sandman always makes me go to bed by 11 P.M.

After two days the Big A main is firing 50% faves and I'm just glad I have a huge excuse to bypass the action there today.

Mountaineer ain't much better than Aqueduct. Favorites clean up at that joint moreso than the past. It used to be full fields and chock full o'prices most every night. Penn National, Presque Isle and Charles Town have been killing them in the quality department.

Just got back from some X-rays on my chest and hip. The young lady blew my first chest X-ray and said she had to drop the plate a bit because I had large lungs. I mentioned that her's were none too small either. While laughing out loud she called me a dirty old man but we got along splendidly.

I'll be working the Mountain PPs but I'm game for a diddle anywhere. I love watching Fred and Ethel on the live feed - I think they've been dead since Hoover was in the White House and simply don't know it yet. Those two are about as lively as tray two and three at the morgue.
