The 3/4/8 snag the DD, the #4 Lump in great multis.

I get the $12 DD off the $7 finisher.
Yup, I just farted and my three cats all ran off before they could breathe in the chalk dust.
I do not mind losing on the budget but I absolutely despise being ground down with chalk winners and losers.
Years ago I was 21 and a new civilian out of the Marine Corps. Belly up to the rail at Belmont Park I liked a horse and wanted to play it W/P. Pop told me that a player was nuts to cover the place unless the horse was loading at 4/1 or better since the fave could cut his place price to ribbons if he won. Show bets for any horse were just like pissing into an inferno while you're telling the world you're a brave fireman.
Well, it's 42 years later and what my father told me has withstood the test of time. The only "skew" that wasn't there then was that a horse at 4/1 can go second in New York now and pay $2.60, $2.40 in a field of six but tiny fields were not an issue back then.
