BETTY LOU gets home as the $6.80 fave in a 12-horse field to kick off a P3 as single going into a 4X2 deal but it's still a wild night with the crawdaddies, the alligators, dogs that chase guys through swamps that are wearing chains, and people that settle every argument with a Bible and a shotgun. Jeez, I'm ranting a bit for laughs. Louisiana people are among the best in the world. A Louisiana Marine private would hold his ground until death in the horseshit war of my day. |
