:!: My recollection is that trainer Antonio Arriaga once took a stab at jockeying in this town a number of years ago. Appears to have a one-horse stable and may have also been mentored by Rudy Rodriguez as far as bringing horses along patiently.

Red to Positive is in form and has decent grass breeding.

Almost everything that Carlos Martin has been sending out is firing well: Moonwalk Beauty. I like bug Pedroza, but should remind all that apprentice jockeys need additional education on turf, not to mention grass courses that they are generally unfamiliar with at the outset. The bright ones learn quickly.

 I know this will sound ridiculous, but I actually think that Channing Hill will win one of the turf races carded today.

Only one that frightens me that I haven't covered is #8 Winged Bandit, but I'm determined not to squander my profits from yesterday.

Hill's Slow Bred faces open company here but I'll keep an open mind.

The Lump WINGED BEAUTY is the 2/1 fave off the 10/1 morning line with 18 MTP.

I used the bum second leg P4 but Good Heavens, I saw this race as a spread job.

I like Red to Positive, improving and will adore the grass

The P4s are dead but DOPKE GIRL could bring in a mini-payday P3 as a single.

The way I'm playing I just hope I have enough money tonight to hire two elderly women to beat me with bats and sticks for my handicapping.

You're never dead until the Doc has the stethoscope to your chest and says, "I don't hear nuthin'!"

I don't care about the busted action.

The P3 lands for $168.50 with the single and the Pistolzacta rolls for a sweet $44.60 on the 2-pony box.

It took seven races but the account is very happy again.
