 They're on the turf and moving the card faster until predicted inclement weather arrives (forecasters calling for drenching rains either late afternoon or early evening - hope it's the latter).

Boat might be the hunch play of the day in race for NYBs. Lightly raced, returns from Florida and appears to maturing at the right time.
Leatherhead owns a win here; Maylan always tries with scant mounts, esp., for softspot Ubillo. Rodrigo's uncoupled Adirondack Warrior also has a chance.

The other one with potential is Hennig's Living Right - gets an inside slot on grass course + Cornholio.

 Giving some consideration to Wishingonadream: you know how often grassers do well off long layoffs, but just got a feeling this one is looking ahead to Belmont. Besides, I only cover DiSanto at fat prices, though he's now drifted upto 10-1.

I'd better stick to my initial four: ex & tri box 2-5-6-8 and if I don't come away with some cash, I'll most likely fold up my tent at Aqueduct.

Boat, by the way, didn't debut until four, but feels like a late bloomer. Jeez - no money coming in on Cornholio (Living Right) and he's the big dog jock (by default) sticking around in NY today.

Showering now in Brooklyn - wet weather will probably arrive in Queens shortly.

The noise on this board is deafening.

:D Thank you, thank you, thank you, Maylan Studart, for persevering aboard Leatherhead. Ubillo has that soft spot for the girls. Fat exacta and IRS triple. The big bucks are always on the grass. I'm flush again and needed that confidence boost.

Taking a breather now.
