Saver P3's do just that, especially with the 10 (241.55). Also live to everyone's single, the 4 (43.75)

The speedy Lump MTO SEWAN INDIAN opened at 7/2 with a ton of cash laid down off the 8/1 morning line and is my single for leg 2 of a Pick 3.

I saw JOCKEY RIDGE as a false fave with this busted turfer but my son needs it bad to finish a P3.

I launched a pretty wide open P4 that begins here with the fave, I'll spare you the gory details. But the 10 would make it a nice payday, and I don't care if the P4 is ruined.

$43 on the 3X2X2 saver play, better than ripping right?

I suppose the MTOs under the fave was the way to go but Tagg's runner at 3/5 on a busted turfer had me reaching for something the nuns would have beaten me for doing in 1954.

My P4 takes off but nobody wants to spread 3 to catch a $3 winner in leg #1.

My son John catches an $87.50 P3 with the fave gone in leg 1, a $14.60 winner in leg 2, and this $3.20 bum in leg 3.

I'm OK with the action but I'm starting to think that some folks a whole lot brighter than me are playing today. That P3 payoff reeked but we just cannot avoid short shit fields in New York anymore.

Yes, for sure - "You done swell", as the old New York railrats would say in my youth.
