 I comprehend the fervor for Chad, who is getting bet like he's Todd Pletcher. But I so prefer Pulpits on grass. Still....

....ex box..1-3-4-7....tri key....7/1-3-4

Alertrani always moves up on dirt. Like the cutback to shorter distance for Mott. The Chief is the Chief.

 Ding dong stretch battle, yet Chad's winner not only withstood the fast splits, but had enough in reserve in deep stretch to pull away from the Chief's firster. Experience won out. Both Jerkens kin finished under in the triple.

Nevertheless, the Chief is back and had a good spring/summer meet at Belmont last year. Difficult to dismiss when he enters.

1:22:3...sizzling fractions. Ramon moved too early, gutsy finsh by Chad's horse.

pretty good performance second out, going an extra panel and being close to a real fast pace and still drawing away deep stretch. gotta be a solid BSF for this race.
