I was trying to get to a belated Dr.'s appointment this morning (his schedule is complicated) and then I got overwhelmed by the hoopla over the death of a certain Muslim. And then I thought I might not want to offend any of my high-roller friends by 'capping and playing 3rd-rate tracks with dollars, deuces, and fivers.

I am in an emotional conumdrum this morning and need some guidance.

Make it easy Larry, just stroke the keys and make me vanish. I don't care for some people here anyway. Family bashers, and some who like to piss on fathers graves is not what I call a friend. Wish you well sir.

 Betting out of town tracks has always been a staple here. Why should that change now?

I'll only remind you of one thing: this place is called the New York Racing Board. You're the administrator here, but you've abandoned New York racing. You find the energy to post complete cards of stickies for other racing outposts, but nothing on Wood Memorial day.....there wasn't a single post here that day. It took another board member to post stickies for opening day at Belmont Park - a rite of spring. The lurkers - and there are many of them, as you well know - need some initiative if they are going to weigh in on race selections. I can understand not posting stickies on weekdays - many people are working and it seems pointless - but not posting them for NYRA on weekends is unconscionable.

Larry, I know you've soured on New York racing, esp., after this dreadful winter; in fact, you've soured on a lot of things that go beyond racing. But that doesn't mean the rest of us have. Out-of-town isn't my own cup of tea, but I've hung around with too many simulcast bettors, so I have no right to dismiss their penchant for wagering on everything in sight. Nevertheless, don't forget this board's title.

Let's get back to a peacable kingdom.

And wishing you good luck today, wherever you're betting.

There are 3 admins here and everybody can post up a NY menu - it ain't rocket science. I'm here every day but some days it's only to boot spammers. I'm married to the bride, not this board.

Philly's on hiatus but we have Atlantic City going at 3:30.

I'm also peeking at the Will Rogers card.

The scarfaced man sends his regards. Image

And third-Rate Robbie wishes he'd never ever placed small wagers at small tracks:

That Atlantic City meet has to be the strangest one in the country.

They actually had almost 10k people in attendance on Sunday. All turf with six or seven races per day for six straight days. No claiming races, only MSW and starter allowance.
