 Good race at 1-1/4 mi on dirt.
The two Motts obviously catch attention, as well as Inherit the Gold, whose win streak came to an end on a wet bullring.
But, as the mob chieftain said in the movie Casino, when deciding whether or not to whack the Alan King character: "why take chances?"

I remember 10-furlong dirt races at Belmont coming from the chute to the training track and they were one-turn deals. In this one we get a turn and a half.

Only the deuce lands the P3 for me.

I don't care for the Belmont winner and have decided that he can beat me at a piddly 5/2.

DROSSELMEYER caught a trip from the angels.

The fave didn't have to come by way of Canarsie and coolers along the outside rail in a 6-horse race but that's what happened.

Drosselmeyer is probably going to run in the Brooklyn off this race. That horse sure does love Belmont.

I just phoned all my dirty filthy old white girlfriends and all my illegal alien young girlfriends to inform them that I might be close to broke tonight.

Too bad they ruined Inherit The Gold shipping him to that backwater bog. That horse had such great form. His stride had this rhythmic motion like an oil rig. He did not look the same today. They ruined him shipping him to Charlestown for that slop race on the bullring.

isn't he a WV Bred??? If so they AIM for that race..C Town is not a bad surface and it is in the same time zone..Many horses ship there and back...He went for a seven figure pay day..worth the risk...unless he is not a WV bred than BAD MOVE.
