 New Yawker loves the course, loves the distance. The cutback helps and this one is consistent.

They'll be pounding Anthony Dutrow's I've Got Speed, who also loves the course - but has never run this distance. Lightly raced as he gets older.

Our Friend Harvey comes into this in fine fettle and owns a win at the distance - can take it all.

Duke of Naples is a good grasser, but asking a lot to sprint off the layoff and methinks this is a prep for races to come.

Only the one and three carry on my Pick 3 with no number in front but I can't finish anything off today besides doubles.

I'll take a shot with HARVEY for a Pick 3 grope.

P3: 1-2-5/6/2-7-9

1/8 Pole just phoned from Belmont and asked me to lay in some action for him. I'm guessing he's not dancing on the apron with a magnum of champagne.

P3: 1-4/1/2-7-9

Ex: 1/4-9

Despite the age, the 1 I've Got Speed has been running consistently well and the shorter races seem to be his sweet spot; that he's never run a 7 makes me only a little uneasy--I'd prefer to believe that the top notch connections aren't saving anything here and are serious as each race could be the retirement race.
I also like how the cutback could affect Voodoo Storm. This guy's been suffering since that G3 race, apparently making good middle moves and then running out of gas on the routes. The 7F may be the saving distance--this horse is too well bred not to wake up with something the trainer tries.
Go Richie Go is kind of speculative and I ought to be doubly cautious after Don't Fouli Houli (a mantra of UNC football players of a certain age)'s performance today but maybe Richie can do okay.

:? Only horse I'm worried about is Hewitts. Baker is good with grass and this horse can motor. It's a sprint.

Maybe 5F's at LoneStar for that Voodoo horse.

Six to five with the 9-year-old.

I have two different Pick 3s flying but I ain't thrilled. This racing is grinding me down as a multi player with no decent numbers showing up.
