I understand that time is for all practical purposes a poor handicapping tool except for work tabs and lightly-raced horses but KATSKILL BAY has been busting out stakes times with bottom claimers. If this guy has one more race in him this could be Good Night Irene with Irene naked before the half is over.

With that said, the 7/8 finish a DD at my house and you have to take a shot against the prohibitive fave with some goddamn thing even if you cover the chalk.

DD: 5-7/2-4

ExBx: 5/7

And a Bucker Flucker P3: 5/2-4-5-10/7

Four bucks will give me a cheap thrill if the fave rolls and at my age cheap thrills is about all I can hope for.

The fave ran his race but caught some inside speed that just bested him in 1:09.66.

Big Sandy be Big Fasty today.
