The ISN'TLOVEGRAND and I'M A QUICKIE double may be the Romance Hunch Bet of the year.

I have a thing about P3s that go bust in leg 1 with a single.

DD: 2-4-5-10/7

DD: 8/2-7

1/8 Pole is in as well with a DD: 4-8/3-7

There are no doubt brighter folks here than me today so I boinked SOTB's leg one as an ExBx: 3/6 for a diddle.

Luck to all who are in here.

Turf courses at Belmont now look and play like those out on the California circuit. I had a friend who confirmed that they indeed are cutting the grass shorter than they did in the past. Not crazy about it at all, just seems like the courses are more speed favoring than before.

Years ago when I used to walk across the Belmont and Saratoga courses to get out to the tote boards for maintenance (Aqueduct has tunnels out to the infield) I was initially amazed at how tall the grass was. You'd wear high boots just for the dirt but the grass would be well over your ankles and you'd constantly step in a repaired divot and indentations that the thundering hooves make. Those grass courses are not the smooth tight "pool tables" you think you see at the track or on TV.

The dirty filthy sex double returned $34.80 and my son and I are are laughing like hell as we both nailed it.

Jeez, I hope my Mom continues in her eternal rest. As a devout Catholic girl she would not like what I have been posting.
