Off the dog-leg start on the Widener at a mile I usually try to take a flyer with inside early speed at a number to get the jump on them but alas, this field seems to be a group of plodders.

The drop from allowance company will probably make DOPKE GIRL the fave with Ramon up, especially since she beat claimers at today's distance over at the Big A three back.

Give a gander to CHICK IN SLACKS. This gal was going nicely with better last fall. Yeah, I understand she clunked the return at 3/1 off the layup but today she shortens and Turner is too good of a horseman not to have her ready for improvement second time out. Nifty bullet work and a sharp breeze over the last two weeks.

STARSILHOUETTE is also live if she can pick up some pace out front and stay away from the overland late charge by way of Canarsie despite the fact she's zip for seven on weeds.

I like Kathy Ritvo but I don't like MORDCAI JONES here. The form was off at GP and one work tab since March tells me this gal has no business being 5/2 on the morning line.

The Lump PELICAN LAKE makes only her third turf start but one never knows if this one feels like running until the race is run and the windows are closed. Not for the weak kneed.

8 Dopke Gal takes drop and Ramon is up. Has the class and the right style here. looks tough

3 Mordecai jones comes up from Florida. Has shot in here.

1a Sarsilhouette might be the speed in this paceless race.

D/D 3-8/2-5

Pk 3 1-3-8/5/3

StarSilouette is likely lone speed here, or stalking at worst, the fractions should be glacial here

I tried working the cats' litterboxes with my hands to find a "divine sign" but now all I have is hands that don't smell very nice.

DD: 4-8/2-5

P3: 4-8/5/5

Dopey Dummy Double: 1-2-3-4-6-8/5

When I saw the tiny smallest $11 DD proble with the one and five I thought I was going to be sandblasted by the sharpies.

5/2 kicks off a 9/2 willpay.

KP catches the tri and the Pole Poops have some multi action but no BANGERS are up in lights yet.

There was some good 'capping here. DOPKE just could not come out of the clouds off the 48 half.
