Both Copious Notes (#4) and Tillie's Girl (#11) came out of an ultra-key race on 5/8 (3 won next out, including Pat's Meow, and 4 others made the money). Granted it was a dirt race, there are no world-beaters in here. Will also use Vintage Heirloom (#3), a new face off a layoff, and a hot bug aboard. Serpe is terrible off layoffs, but I'll take my chances.

Cheap speed is wonderful until I plunk it - and I did not here. There was no clue that the winner would run off and hide.
But the winner took money and I understand that.
Contessa wins one and that's OK.
