Here's a rundown of my thoughts:

Chernobyl's Hero: 3-for-5 ITM over the course is a positive, but 4-for-58 lifetime and recent dull form is a key negative. Horse still eligible for n2x condition, but Odintz not protecting and puts $50k tag on. Out.

Compliance Officer: Past winner of this state-bred condition cuts back to 6F off the claim, and looks like a pace factor here, but looks likely to get ground down in a duel. Can contend here, but this seems like a tough spot for this one.

Can't Refuse: 5-for-62 lifetime and overmatched. Would need a lot of racing luck to legitimately contend.

Zip Quik: Recent n1x winner is fresh off a break and drops to state-breds for the 1st time. Should get a good trip behind the speed. Contender.

Driven by Solar: Returns to n2x with the tag, and makes turf debut. Sire has average turf progency, and the match-up might be too tough here. Passing.

Tocco d'Oro: Didn't handle the soft going last out, but now Levine leaves him unprotected with the tag. Will likely duke it out with Compliance Officer early on, which would soften him up. Hard to like his chances.

Hot Money: The class of the field - has beaten several of these horses before, including last time out over the soft going. 4-for-9 lifetime over the BEL lawn; gets a dream pace setup here, and should be geared for another late run.

Strong Impact: Ran some good races last summer at the Spa, and could easily be a n3x. No tag is encouraging, as is the jock change to Dominguez. Swing horse could be the value horse here, but might be a shorter price with Ramon aboard. Dangerous.

Thought Dominguez had gotten the bob... tough beat.
