I know it rained overnight but I didn't think it was enough to shut down the turf courses.

Muddy/Off as of 8:30 a.m.

I heard the rain at 3:30 this morning and thought I was wetting the bed again.

I haven't gotten an eyeball on the track yet but if it's harrowed mud that's drying out the speedy STORM RUBI could be worth a tumble.

No June works show up for HARD CALL as a first-time claimer. Looks like a Pletcher house-cleaning sale but this gal only has to beat four horses in a magnificent 5-horse race.

Lump GRANDE ROJA is 2/1/0 from just five starts and likes it wet. Could get loose here or burn up if STORM RUBI is on the engine.

We must go easy here. Gotta save some cash for the 4-horse feature race.

With 33MTP the 2/1 DD probable is $4.70.

I'm sober so I'm having trouble functioning but I'd like to beat the fave somewhere in the first two.

DD: 2-5/1-6

DD: 1-2-3-5/1

P3: 2-5/1/6

I figure I could sweep the first three races in a P3 and still be out money. This is one long garbage card that makes me feel nostalgic for snow flurries on the inner at Aqueduct.

Unless somebody goes nuts in the last 2 minutes, the Bridgies have stayed away.

More than twenty grand hit the show pool late for the $2.60 winner.

All my tix catch leg 1 just to piss me off.

Got no clue why I'm here today. I should be outside playing Bach to my flowering tomato plants.
