Herman the German just phoned. His tap went WP on Tagg's horse and the $6 place money has him OK. He asked if he could keep wearing the Lucky Panties for the rest of the card and I told him it was OK providing he doesn't go into a bar later and get them ripped like last time.

If I had a buck for every race I thought myself out of going back just four decades I'd have to sleep in the garage as the house would be crammed to the rafters with singles.
