Hard to gauge the pp on the June 4 5th race, which must have looked like a skater's waltz, but, hey, they all made it all the way around, and a few of these in here look like they might not. Sundae's a Meese--I can't believe this one's never won a race; she's filled out a lot of ninth race exotics. Of prepped ones I like Stray Bullet, who was a waltzer but had a reasonable prior or two last year. Ought to be the favorite and 9/2 is a good price. St. Lucy, just ahead in the waltz is on the 3rd start which I like and never out of the money AND has done more than the distance. This one is clearly running in her sweet spot, and Flower Alley made me some money a ways back, which is good for my comfort level. The shaky pleasure of taking a new face or two in the 9 and 10 is a mistake, though I started to go down that road. Too much for them to confront in this race (stretchout, 2nd race, L1 for one of 'em); not for me. God, they're loading. Better get this in. 8,5,3 box

Exacta pays a pretty nice $40. With a bit more time I might have put in for the tri (Meese never to win but great for third) -- but only if I were OldGuy would I have punched the ALL button for 4th.
