TANGLED TANGO is in great form and on paper he eats these for lunch.

The WISHFUL TOMCAT cuts back to a distance at which he is two for two. He's four for seven on the Belmont lawns and drops. The downside is that the form has been tailing off and no works are listed since April. Will need to cut unpressed splits to have a shot. Tough to back.

Old fave BOLD VINDICATION goes for two in a row but that rarely happens with these claimers. But I like that Sciacca drops him and JV stays. And you get THE VIN MAN - SCRATCHED - with the twofer, another last-out winner.

I'll be scratching myself fiercely if the ITCH - SCRATCHED - wins this one. I'm thinking this horse got on the wrong bus.

PARC des PRINCES won off the layup, drops, and goes for his second in a row. Live with these if the fave falters.

Well, I'm sweeping the card so far but not making any money. And just like 97% of everybody who got in my P4s are halfway home like a bunch of Pick3s are in play off the single.

1:22.16 for The Chief's runner. Mr. Jerkens saddled his first runner the year before I was born and I collect Social Security. Ain't seen nothing like him since I saw Sunny Jim Fitzsimmons as a youngster.

People with brains are staying away from this card in the early races but then that leaves me to stay with the action.

The huge TOMCAT at our house goes, "Oh!" and closes his eyes when you rub his belly.

Gotta root for him. I have never seen a more gentle cat in all my years upon this planet than Trouble the tomcat.

Gotta make a play with CAT GIRL later on.
