Race 5

Not a fan of the ML favorites here, and will let them beat me. Frequent Fame is an oft-overlooked horse-for-course, with 4 out of 5 career wins coming over the Hollywood cushion. Had some trouble last time out, and should show improvement 2nd off the Miller claim. Millie N Marie is a 3YO against older, but the field isn't that great, and strong chance that she could get loose here.

Race 6

Tricky SoCal starter allowance, with several young maiden graduates capable of winning. However, will keep it safe and simple and spread 4-deep. Los Bomberos comes in off a strong wire-to-wire 85 Beyer, and looks like the "wise-guy" horse here. Songfoya nearly won for a tag last out with a strong fig, and can't be claimed tonight. Should be tighter 2nd off the break. Warren's Dr. Yang showed improvement on the drop, has been working a storm, and fits with these. Tales of Tigger is fast enough to get loose here.

Race 7

Dance With Gable or bust. Has the speed/class/form edge here, and guns for 3rd straight.

Race 8

If we're alive through 3 frames, we're guaranteed to cash. ALL has never lost a race, so rather than try and figure out this maiden claiming slobberknocker, we'll take advantage of the 50-cent minimum, gamble and hope to catch a bomb.
