I don't think we'll see TERRALBA - SCRATCH - here. This $140K purchase went OK in the debut VS specials and I cannot fathom this horse in for a tag today. Stablemate ISRA had no late kick for the slow-paced debut but clunked into the place.

Lump WAR QUEEN is nicely bred and The Chief does OK with turf sprints. Been working nicely for the debut.

Pletcher's ST PANCRAS has been working well on the weeds upstate.

John Terranova does very well in races such as this and I will be scoping the tote with MORE THAN LOVE - SCRATCH.

All the attention will be on Pletcher's St Pancras (Scat Daddy) and Ward's Sisterhood (Becky's Kitten's Sister) a name for 1/ pole. I've seen Pletcher run a favorite like this only to sneak in his other entry. Queen of England has been training well up to her debut. Price should be right and will cover in some exacta's with the top two choices.

8 win/place

4-8 exacta box
8-9 exacta box

ST PANCRAS (the patron saint of teenagers) lands a DD. My last day as a teenager was spent as a 19-year-old Marine sergeant aboard a ship out in the Pacific.

I see some better deals here.

One time in a Hong Kong bar some U.S. Marines got into a trivia contest with some Brit sailors who were in port. Everybody was a gentleman until one young Marine yelled out, "Can you name me the first five United States Marines that hit the sack with the QUEEN OF ENGLAND?"

The brawl was on but I'll cover these 43 years later.

Well noted, sir. Man, I am befuddled about Canterbury.

Tell me about it. They paid the state for all of July yet can't race. The zoo is open. Same rules don't apply. Get us a racino and we'd solve the whole budget problem! Meanwhile my horse at Canterbury eating us out of house and home
