This could be the toughest race of the day.
Linda sends out IN TE DOMINE. This non-Van Scam daughter of New York sire FREUD is two for three at today's distance, catches some class relief, and can fire well fresh.
ULTIMATE CLASS crapped out in her latest at a mile while on the engine but shortens today and catches Johnny V. George Weaver knows where to spot them.
Horse for the course and Lump EXCHANGE FUNDS won her last at today's distance and has never been off the board in three tries at 7 furlongs. She catches rock hard grass again today and looms large if she runs back to that race for Hennig.
The graded-stakes placed INDIAN BURN makes her grass debut today. If this daughter of INDIAN CHARLIE takes to the lawn (as some of them do) look for her to be doing her best running late at a number. Worth a flyer somewhere with these.

No surprise here that Connie and Michael and Chad's import Forest Crown will garner most of the moneys here. That should give us a nice price with Ultimate Class. Velazquez jumps on this filly for the first time. Weaver ran this horse at Monmouth in an OC32k/n2x at a mile 18 days ago. Filly ran a credible race but looked like she was a horse in need of a race after 8 week breather. Cutback to 7 panels should be right in this filly’s wheelhouse. The filly doesn't show a propensity to win (2 for 16) but looking for Velazquez to get the jump on the 2 favorites at the top of the stretch and try and hang on.
3 win
Exacta box 3-6
Exacta box 3-7
Doubles 3 / 9,10,11

I have a wagering account that will permit me to lay in $1,000 a week with no fees out of my checking account without anything clearing for a day or two. I figure I have some huge leverage going with the 62 cents that are still in there.
DD: 3-7-8/9-10
DD Cold Flyer: 6/9

Now need the 9, 10 or 11 to finish things up.

You got 'em with two of them going one/two.

Thanks, 1/4 pole. Now if I can get Maylan to give Loyal Shadow a clear ride in tomorrow's 3rd, I'll be very happy.

I may be old and stupid now on the back end of my allowed years but Maylan Studart never looked bad on a horse. Especially on this one: Yup, that's Maylan.

I can only hope she looks half as good for us crossing the finish line in front tomorrow.

Every time I have caught Studart on a horse with money she has come along late with a horse that is better than she is. She's not my go-to bomb rider with a live runner.
