Dr. Dutrow drops MASALA off the Belmont claim. The horse is stretching out to a distance he likes but there are some other creatures with a shot here.
SOUTH FOURTH STREET steps up a tad off a fine effort with rising figs. Pennington stays aboard the gelding who is 11 for 23 at today's distance. Worth a long look at a nice morning-line number.
Steve Klesaris' Deli shipper BISCAY BAY steps up a bit off the victory but this is a "horse for the course" (6/3/2/0) who can rate sweetly from the rail. This fellow is 4/4/1 from ten starts going a mile or a mile and some yards.
