Late afternoon on Wednesday one of the orange twins Garfield brought me the lower torso of a grey squirrel with the guts hanging out and the tail missing. This feral tom is Ginger's young son and knows me since the day he was born and loves back and neck rubs - but he is foremost a hunter/killer and although he eats well here he is still going to hunt just like Mom Nature and millions of feline generations have taught him to do.
