I was safe, sane and sober when I went to bed wearing only my old drawers and wrapped up in some in some old moldy comforters.

I was on my right side all rolled up in the covers front and on the flanks. I was sleeping sweetly when I was awoken with head butts to my bare back. It was the momcat Mister Mittens. I awoke.

I got flat on my back and in the dark pooched out some covers to my left. The cat flopped while ramming her rump into my left hip. I reached over in the dark to pet her skull and ears. She stretched and purred before dropping off for some sleep.

Taking a feral momcat off the street to be a house cat is a tough pull.
