My bride and Barbara worked together as snuffies at Merrill Lynch and became fast friends about 35 years ago. They clicked with friendship. Barbara married a fellow from Australia and moved to Down Under. Barbara and Mary stayed in touch and on a trip to the U.S. many years ago Barbara stayed here for a few days. I liked her - petite brunette with no belly and a nice ass.

On Sunday the wife will be in the '11 Chrysler sedan to catch Barbara at JFK. Barbara will be here for five days and the teen girl I married long ago has expensive dinner reservations for herself and her friend set up and tickets to a Broadway show.

Me? I'll be up in the man cave on my recliner with my books, a huge TV, my newspapers and a cat or two or three. On a pony day I'll be at my desk with beer wearing ratty old drawers and maybe a 20-year-old T-shirt.

But I'll be sure to have a new shave and a shower for when Barbara gets here. After that I go back to being me.
