About 4-6 weeks ago Lukey Dog and Suffolk OTB reccomended a stock I didn't like, Genworth Financial. The stock was trading at about $2.00 a share then. To me, the stock looked like it was's going anywhere. There was even some bad news that came out about the company. Well the stock closed at $6.60 today, 260% above where Lukey reccomended it.

Although I didn't buy any, Lukey and Suffolk, if they still own it, must be celebrating the tripling of their original investment. I believe the term used is a 3 bagger. :o

Congratulations.

I am into GM (Government Motors).

When Michelle starts doing oil changes on the White House lawn I will be jumping for joy.

Does anybody here understand that the government is burying us?

No rant, no rave Jack.

I just wish I was young again to take up arms to brawl the folks who believe that Big Government and hand outs are the way to go.

Bit into the stock a little, no complaints. Thanks Lukey, SOTB, could you find an uglier avavar. I would rather see the dixie flag than his ugly puss.

GNW has been a winner for sure but so have the other 4 mentioned in that long forgotten thread...I have gotten a bit gunshy as the negative news from the brainless twits has begun....Biz Week doing their normal DD claims the company is a wreck...Nothing seems to stop it's ascent even this baseless drivel but all the same I bought and sold Dec puts/and calls thereby raising my exit price on the stock by 3.35 per share...I walk away with 10.27 per share on a stock that was less than a dollar!! That is a BANG.

Of course like the true degenerate I am I will continue accumulating on the down days and selling into the rally I believe this stock at this time next year is worth upwards of 22.00.

The new darling is FORD..WHo would have believed they would be the last auto maker standing???

my grandfather was a chevy dealer and I grew up in the auto finance business. In the late 80's early 90's the three ford "T's" were unfinancable - the tempo, the taurus, and the thunderbird.

Yet today Ford is the last one standing free an clear and the market leader in the all important mid size american market...the CEO is sharp and would not bite when the hypocrite Lauer interviewed him today about the new "vietnam" of gov funding for Chrysler and GM..he steered clear.
