The bride got home on Tuesday night after a nasty slog out of Manhattan. I told her that Emily had gotten inside the house today and that neither the momcat or tomcat, who were there by the door, attacked her or got nasty.

I have permission to call Dr. Wallach in the morning to set the little girl cat up for lab tests, inoculations, spaying and whatever else a #1 animal hospital can do for a female feral feline still in kittenhood. It will cost a bunch but that's not important. Saving a cat life does, especially a sweet gentle cat life that's got no shot to make a living on the street. Hey, there's room here.

No, you can't save them all but Emily grabbed a lot of heart strings here since she was born out back in the late summer.

Emily has little chance to survive as a feral. Just too timid and not "street like her brother who has already disappeared or Ginger who will do OK with a cat condo and free meals when she shows-up!
