John and I were able to snow blow and shovel the place in good order and the town had the plows out all night. I got the car out for groceries and the feral cats have a good cleared spot for meals.

Here in Norwestc, we had about the same amount yesterday too. Alot melted after shoveling, and the roads were down to pavement...but there are mountains of frozen snow everywhere. More snow expected tues - thurs too.

Do you clear the ''entry" to their condo or do they "break through" snow?

I do what I can for them. This morning I brought out two platters of food for Emily & Ginger and their mother showed up and got nasty as a food hog (swatting and hissing) so I brought out more food for them. It's been a lousy winter for both man and beast.

Later today as I clear more snow and slush out of the driveway I will clear a new path to the cat condos. I blew another twenty at WalMart this morning for more cat food (it's cheaper at WalMart than at ShopRite) but more snow is coming tonight and I was running low.

No cats showed up for dinner on Tuesday night with the snow falling but this morning I had hungry criers at the side door when they saw me through the kitchen window at dawn.

You need to heat your patio.

No mail yet, we get another ice blast tonight.

It's coming. I just need to get to the post office.
