Took the wife, place is a dump, 3 original band members surrounded by 4 other terrific musicians, the sound they put out in 2015 is terrific considering their ages.

The venue is a dump.
The bathroom situation is atrocious
The floors need a paint job, the carpets are disgusting
5 bucks for a bottle of Dasani filtered water, cheaper at the track
The seats are less comfy than a movie theatre.
They let this place fall apart slowly
If that wasn't enough, there are people in our culture that have lost all respect for others, forget concert "etiquette", talk louder than the music because they need others to hear them. If you don't respect the music, why would you go? know why? Long Island has become the land of the "ME"......on the roads, in the restaurants, at the entertainment venues, people don't respect themselves, they sure wont respect others.

Great concert, The people where I sat were lucky I wasn't 20 years younger.

No experience with Westbury venue..but the Moody Blues were/are popular well known group...Knight in White Satan...and all...but couldn't their booking management find a better place? Were the Moody Blues so popular in LI only, so that is where they have a "following"?

Must be about the money. There a several venues in NY (not the Garden) where they could still "pack" a crowd.
Are ticket prices "lower" than elsewhere?

Westbury has seen better days but it is a great place to see a show. The theater in the round gives all a great site line. Left out is the "free parking" and awesome acoustics...Moody Blues was a terrific show and the "new members" especially the two younger girls provide a modern twist to 45 year old hits..No need to find a new venue just dont expect Radio City when you get there.

Moody Blues and lots of the iconic 70' acts love the venue. Management is terrific to work with and 2300 SRO is a nice payday without adding opening acts or worrying about weather.
