Nobody laughs while scooping cat shit and clumps of cat piss out of a litter box.

Except for sometimes.

This evening while I was scooping and cleaning the litter box at the top of the stairs there was galloping behind me. It was little Shiloh and she sat upon a stair two/thirds of the way up. She looked at me with those lovely and gentle emerald-green eyes while I went back to my task about cleaning up cat crap, puss piss and laying down a huge beautiful layer of expensive Tidy Cats cat litter.

When my task was complete the little girl cat finished her journey to the top of the stairs and hopped into the litter box whereupon she let loose all the urine she'd been saving all day and an enormous load of cat turds that she had saved up from 60 meals ago. When done, her instincts had her spending about ten minutes burying her waste so no predators could catch her scent. She was out of the litter box building pyramids and bunkers with her front paws for her waste. Satisfied, she went back downstairs for a warm bed.

Me? I just stared with my Ziploc full of cat shit for many minutes and knew that I was going back into the litter box for another round.
