As a fit and trim physical wreck senior citizen of just 67 & former U.S. Marine regular due for an eye check, another colonoscopy, more blood tests for my thyroid and prostate while undergoing another digital prostate exam I was wondering how Mr. Cassidy is.

Weight out of U.S.M.C. - 205. Weight now? - 192 with a bigger belly by a tad. I ain't a 21-year-old new civilian anymore but I'm sweating just fine about Hoppy.

Paul is keeping busy with rehab. It's tough, but so is he. Talked to him Monday, hopes to be home by Christmas.

Rehab for what, Don? I didn't catch a lot of stuff about what knocked Hoppy down for a bit.

It's OK if it's a secret. Medical things are dicey. During my first colonoscopy I thought that an M-14 rifle with a fixed bayonet was going up my back porch while my first digital prostate exam had me thinking that Bubba was out of prison and had followed me to Dr. Caruso's office.

Damn, I love that old Cassidy fellow.

I didn't realize the curmudgeon had a substance abuse problem, though now the profanity-laden outbursts toward me are somewhat understandable. It seems the "FBI Investigation" of the early November Securitiz debacle finally pushed him over the edge. I hope he finds the help he needs.

Show a little compassion FFS. The man had a serious health scare (TIA mini-stroke) that could have killed him and you're here making tasteless remarks like its some kind of a joke. This board has had some gentleman depart too soon (Marty, Woodman). Real classy, dude... Real classy.

Trotter, I hope that you get the help you need. You are the only one that thinks your ignorant comments are amusing.
A lot of people used to post here on a regular basis, but stopped because of tasteless comments like yours.
Grandma used to say, if you have nothing nice to say keep your fucking mouth shut.

Hoppy, I wish you a speedy recovery to enjoy things that are dear to you.

I was very sorry to read of your not being well.

Peace and good health.
My prayers are with you.

Ball busting about horses and foolishness is one thing.

Ignorant comments such as yours, Jay, only show what kind of a person you really are. Its poor form to say such things.
We get that you and Hoppy don't get along, and thats allright.

But the least you can do is be a decent human being and not say anything in this case.

Lord knows Woodman pissed people off on a regular basis about things, but when he died I was spared the troll comments. And for that, I am grateful.

Oh, and BTW, MERRY CHRISTMAS - HT

Jewish penicillin goes best with a sip of Irish on the side.
