The side door of the garage that faces the deck is now left open a bit for cats to lay up when it's snowing. They don't mess up the place and only shelter there to avoid bitterly cold wind and falling snow. They just do not all fit in the cat condos.

Earlier this week we caught a few more inches of snow and when I fired up the snowblower to clear my property some regulars were laid out in the back of the garage, happy for being dry and out of the wind and just a short jaunt to my side door and good food.

They have huge boxes of "gazebo material" for nesting and the gazebo carpeting.

I am happy to report that the momcat Mister Mittens allowed me into my own bed this afternoon for a nap without becoming agitated. And that she allowed me to sleep in until almost 6 a.m this morning before the head butts started for her breakfast. I showered last night so she loves me again.
