As an old fart Brooklyn fan that watched game 7 of the 1955 World Serious on an enormous half-ton (seemed like) Emerson television with a 9-inch screen, any day that the Yanks lose is a good day. Brooklyn nailed it that day in the Bronx and Gil Hodges had both RBIs in the two to zip shutout.

Any day from my first day at Ebbets Field in 1953 until today is a great day for the Yankees to lose.

Out-of-the woodwork Yankee fans (in good years) can never match National League fans.

I thought I heard my name being mentioned. yeah, yeah, the sox are whipping the Skanks collective overpriced asses, but they're only 1 back with all that dominance. This just maybe one of those years where the Yanks may lose the battle but win the war. It's still June Yorker buddy, this ain't done yet. :)
