With the wife retired I no longer have need to plant a farm and send the extra produce to Wall Street. I can plant fewer things with more space so I can mostly weed with the cultivator. Well I just came back inside after wrangling with the cultivator and clearing some ground. What used to be a snap at 28 or 38 is an ordeal at 68.
I know you have to keep active when you get older and I do but routine jobs just are not easy jobs anymore. They get done but they get done more slowly.

Like Granma used to say in her Irish brogue, Don, "If you don't want to get old, die young."
