OK...so Trouble wanted to show all he is

I was feeding some cats outside this morning and let Trouble out. He mingles with the ferals and the kittens that show up - everybody's got their tail up in peace and happiness including the adult toms. That is, until the large Sad Face showed up. Trouble pinned his ears back, hissed out a growl and ran Sad Face off my property. He came strutting back with his hackles up. I put him back in the house. Later on my wife explained that Sad Face had been spraying all over my yard yesterday and Trouble knew it. Apparently, Trouble will share his territory with cats that cop a meal but will not tolerate another male marking it up. Amazing. I've seen Trouble rub heads with toms, females and kittens but he had hatred in his heart for one cat this morning. |

Sad Face eats very well here and likes me to rub his huge skull. He's a good-natured cat and shares the food I give him with kittens. We like him. |
