| Post subject: | Those Styro Packing "Peanuts" And A Huge Tomcat - Oh Wooley! |
A couple of days ago a new microwave got here in a box and was set down in the living room. The tom Trouble showed up and was not happy with an unfamiliar bulky box laid out in his territory (his territory is the entire house). The old microwave was working well but we laid it out on the curb next to the garbage and recyclables clean as can be with the owner's manual inside. I taped a note to it in Sharpie, "Works OK, Take Me". It was gone before before I finished my coffee, Cheerios and corn muffin. The new microwave oven was installed and it works well. The box it came in loaded up with those styrofoam peanuts stayed in the living room and that's when it happened - the tom Trouble was pissed off and jumped into the box. He used his front blown-out paws to swat the peanuts all over the living room. The foam peanuts are gone but the cardboard box is still in the living room. There's a large male cat here that likes to jump into it for a snooze. |
