| Post subject: | What Hugging A Girl Means After Some Time, Right Wooley? |
I was up in the dark before dawn and out shopping before dawn. Mid-morning I was sitting in the kitchen while perusing my newspapers and thinking about getting into the Belmont card. The teen bride of just 43 years got out of her bed to get into the kitchen for a glass of orange juice. She stopped off at the bathroom first. I think she peed. Upon her arrival into the kitchen I got up and wrapped my arms around her. With my right hand at the back of her neck I looked down into her green eyes and told her that I love her and I do. The first date at 16, the marriage at 18, the girl that's stayed the course through some tumultuous times is 62 now. She deserved a hug and a kiss from a grateful old fart. And she's going to let me stay here for another winter! |
