What ever you celebrate, please enjoy with friends and family. My 5 month old grand daughter Julia Rose is visiting, and I'm 82 in 6 weeks.

Getting over the poorest health year of my life, septic shock, intensive care for a month, two surgeries, kidney stones and gall bladder and a fractured hip causing
52 weeks of depression. Better each day, and hoping to make Saratoga 2017.

Baton Rouge got beat up this year, between the high profile shootings and the flood in August, but I was safe and dry. I'm truly blesssed.

Louisianians are ferociously resilient people; Their faith and fortitude is an inspiration to me.

We lived in Lafayette in the early 80's. Lot's of good restaurants.

I wish you all great laughter and joy with family and friends this holiday week. Fond memories of those not present will be celebrated with a great homebrew and a story at the Murphy Christmas gathering.
