The bride did the insane deal on Christmas Eve with gift wrapping and cooking side dishes. She was going to her sister's home in Jersey for Christmas Day to hang out with a lot of relatives. Me? I stayed home with the cats - I've known her relatives and their spawn for too many years although there are a few that are OK. Anyway, my beloved girl did almost a 100-mile round trip to get to her sister's home on Christmas Day and on the day after Christmas was tired. She folded up for an afternoon sleep job. The enormous 17-pound tom Trouble jumped into her bed and snoogled up next to her for his afternoon sleep. The wife rubbed his ears and skull. The cat never once flashed his enormous claws or fangs before falling asleep next to the human girl thing. I like them both. |
