My bride of 36 years came home from work and caught me with half a load on and a bottle in my hand. I explained to her that our son and his friends kept me away from the afternoon Mass at Saint Martha's, that I needed to stay home and monitor their activities as an adult. It didn't work in 1979 and it still doesn't work in 2009. |

The missus got a look at some of the more entertaining pictures from the Downstairs Pub, shook her head and said "We'll, you looked like you were having fun", and then quietly walked away and hid the vodka. |
