I understand that cats are normally "grazers" with good food available. They eat and then go to sleep.

Neutered house cats? Well, the momcat Mister Mittens and her daughter Shiloh eat well. They can graze a lot after naps. And before naps. And break up a nap for food.

The enormous tom Trouble with the missing gonads? He used to worry me. He was the biggest kitten and the first born. He was on his mother Mister Mittens for milk like a wild animal (which he was) with his two brothers while kicking his runt sister away.

On solid food the tom Trouble never ate much. After his kitten gonads went to a landfill he still didn't eat much. That was 2010.

2017? The tom Trouble is large, long and lean with zero for a belly. Great meals? I lay them out every day. Trouble? Sometimes he'll sniff his feed dish and walk away. Sometimes if he's napping he won't even show up to eat. Sometimes he won't eat for a day or two and then eat heartily. On his "off days" he drinks water and maybe chews a treat or two from the teen bride.

Cats are strange creatures.

Well, ya know Trouble aims to maintain his GQ physique  He doesn't want to get fat and "out of shape" especially since his "fighting days" never happened.
