When I was in the 7th grade in the late 1950s I noticed in school that something really bad was happening to the front of Linda Ball's blouses. They were bulging out. The girl that I liked in class, Karen Graves, was built like me - flat as a board from the chin down.
At high school graduation in 1965 Karen was still flat as a board but she finished 3rd in a class of 468.
