I had ham and eggs and the girl I have lived with for 44 years has had a few ham sandwiches on Levy's Jewish rye bread off the great Easter ham dinner. She even made herself some pancakes with ham on the side one morning.

Wednesday? I cooked up some hash and eggs for breakfast. During the afternoon while I was up in the man cave with the ponies at Aqueduct the teen bride on Social Security seared a shell steak for herself (red in the middle) that wound up smothered in fried onions with lots of good stuff on the side.

Thursday? I can't see into the future unless I'm coming out of the county drunk tank in cuffs to see a judge for arraignment but I'm guessing that on Thursday that several pounds of a premium Cook's ham will be outside in huge platters for the feral cats.

It's not always easy shopping for two. And the boy and girl here are happy to lay out great leftovers for the cats outside.

Ham is pig meat and the cats love it.

The house cats love top-shelf Boars Head deli ham (sliced thin).
